Airport to Athirapilly Waterfalls

Landing at Cochin's airport, railway station, or bus stand marks the start of the trip, where our travel executive will be on hand to assist for the rest of the journey. From there, the drive leads to Athirapilly Waterfalls, one of the most striking waterfalls in the country. A short five-minute walk from the main road brings you to the top, while a further fifteen-minute trek down leads to the base, where the falls reveal themselves in full force. The day continues with sightseeing around Vazhachal, passing the well-known Charpa Waterfalls en route. Overnight stay at your hotel.

Day 02

Athirapilly to Munnar

128 Km, 3.5 Hrs

After breakfast, the journey continues toward Munnar, with stops along the way at Cheyyappara and Valara Waterfalls, followed by long stretches of tea plantations lining the route. On reaching Munnar, check into your resort and spend the rest of the day at ease. Overnight stay at your hotel.

Munnar Sightseeing

With breakfast done, the day is set aside for Munnar, often nicknamed Kerala's paradise for couples. The sightseeing trail takes in the Flower Garden, Photo Point, and Honeybee Tree, followed by the calm waters of Mattupetty Dam and Echo Point before reaching Kundala Dam. Eravikulam National Park, home to the rare Nilgiri Tahr, forms the highlight of the day, rounded off with sweeping views from Anamudi Hills and a peaceful stop at Blossom Park. Munnar to Thekkady

110 Km, 3 Hrs

Following breakfast, check out from your Munnar resort and drive toward Thekkady, also known as Periyar. The sightseeing here covers the Periyar Tiger Reserve and Periyar Lake, along with a boat ride on the lake and an optional jungle safari at your own expense. Overnight stay at your hotel.

Day 05

Thekkady to Kumarakom

155 Km, 3 Hrs

After breakfast, check out and continue on to Kumarakom, a small backwater town resting along the western edge of Vembanad Lake. Once you check into your resort, the rest of the day is free for local sightseeing around Kumarakom. Choose between a canoe, a motorboat, or a houseboat to take in the backwater scenery at its best, and make use of whatever resort amenities are on offer, including backwater fishing at select properties. Overnight stay at your resort.

Kumarakom to Alleppey (Houseboat)

30 Km, 1 Hr

After a leisurely breakfast, bid farewell to your Kumarakom resort and make your way to Alleppey, often referred to as the Venice of the East. Spending close to 21 hours aboard a houseboat here is an experience in itself, a floating stay that drifts past paddy fields, quiet backwater villages, coconut groves, and the wide stretch of Vembanad Lake. Onboard with a welcome drink, followed by snacks, lunch, and dinner . Overnight stay on the houseboat.
